DivX consists of codecs, player, utilities and documentation so it is all that you need to play your DivX movies. DivX codec is based on MPEG-4 compression standard that allows you to reduce the MPEG-2 (DVD format) to per cent values of original.
The DivX Play bundle was previously known as DivX Free. It offers every tools needed for playing movies in DivX format.
DivX is supported by Windows XP 32-bit, Windows Vista 32-bit, Windows 2000.
